First Impressions | Zoella Beauty Fizz Bar
I'm late onto the bandwagon with these, but nevertheless I thought I'd share my first impressions with you!
The Zoella Beauty range has a consistent theme throughout: the ability to provide a relaxing 'me time' experience in the bath.
The Fizz Bar is a super cute, chocolate bar styled product which means you can break off the squares into running water for a fizzy and fragrant bath. I love the scent, which is consistent throughout the brand. It has a very fresh, airy and almost slightly sweet element to it. It is very hard to get a fragrance just right for everyone, but I think Zoe really made a great decision when it came down to choosing this one because to me it is quite a universal scent - it isn't too sickly and it isn't too dull.
I did find that the scent was slightly weaker than I would have hoped - it didn't really payoff on my skin, but I've heard it is a fun edition to a bath when incorporated with a Lush bath bomb and I swear I could hear the broken down blocks still fizzing in the bath beneath the water halfway through?!
I have also tried the cute little candle from the range before and absolutely loved the smell in the tin, but likewise I didn't find the scent, while burning, was very strong.
However, we have to consider the price range here - all of Zoe's range of products are below the £10 mark and I think that is a great deal for what the products are. I don't expect bath fizzers (is that what you call them?!) to have a fantastic scent that lasts for ages on the skin if I pay £5 for them, but the packaging looks so pretty and unique that they look like they would be worth a lot more.
If you're on a budget, like myself, I really recommend you try some of the Zoella Beauty products - I would really like to try the Soak Opera bath and shower gel along with the fizz bar some time.
You can find Zoella Beauty in Superdrug, or online at feelunique.com.
