May Favourites
I'd like to start by apologising for the lateness of this post! I'm also sorry that this month's edition of 'Favourites' is quite an unusually short one. I think I might have loved everything I've mentioned a little too much to remember any of my other favourites!
Woah. I totally didn't realise May was over already! Here are this month's favouritos!
MUSIC
Favourite song: this literally goes without saying. This month's favourite song was 'Fantastic Baby' by Bigbang. I know, I know! I've mentioned them so much before now, but I genuinely can't
stop listening to this song! I love how it's one of those songs where you can't just sit down and listen. You have to DANCE (DAN DAN DAN DA DANCE) to it. Seriously, I always find myself swinging my hips even if I'm siting on a chair. That's how I know it's a great track. The best part is the build up to the chorus - it gets all big and dramatic then suddenly goes quite for the spoken words: "Wow. Fantastic Baby"...BOOM (SHAKALAKA)!

I've also loved 'Back It Up' by Caro Emerald this month. Again, it's a song I simply can't sit still to. Jazzy with a bit of edge = immediately in the best mood ever!
Favourite album: if you follow me on Instagram (I'll leave a link if you don't!) or if you read a previous post, then you'll know that my favourite album of May is going to be 'Still Alive' by Bigbang. It's definitely worth waiting and paying for it to be shipped, guys, honestly. I won't ramble on too much about this since I already did that in one of my previous posts but this album is worth the hype it got from all over the place. It's also really great to power walk to!
Also this past month I've really enjoyed using the Real Techniques brushes by Samantha Chapman. Sam is a wonderful makeup artist so I had really high hopes for these knowing she would put all her knowledge and expertise into making these brushes something else. I got my hands on some and have been using them everyday ever since. I own the core pack (which consists of a highlighter brush, a detailer brush, a pointed foundation brush and a buffing brush). The beauty of these brushes is that you can pretty much use each brush for multi-purpose. For example, the detailer brush can either be used for concealer or eyeliner, and can also double as a lip brush. I especially think this would be great for when working on a delicate, perfect red lip.
I hope you're all enjoying June wherever you are!
