It only just dawned on me that it is in fact the end of April. Where the heck did that go?! It seems only yesterday I sat down to post my March Favourites!

 However, the time has come, my friends! Without further ado - here is my monthly favourites post!

MUSIC

Favourite album: My favourite album this month has been very varied - I've been chopping and changing between lots of my favourite artists, but this month I've been listening the most to 'Red' by Taylor Swift. I love this album. It's one of the best ever. Like ever. My favourite track is 'All Too Well', because for me this song takes me right back to the Fearless Era. If you're a Swiftie, you'll know what I'm talking about! It's a bit more poppy than any other of the albums, as I'm sure many people know already, but the lyrical quality has remained the same. It's still Taylor putting her thoughts on paper, and I hope it stays that way.

Favourite song: This month my favourite song was 'Get Lucky' by Daft Punk. I had heard little about them (despite the fact that they've been around for ageeeees!) but this song is just...awesome. It sounds very '1980's Club Classic' and always makes me feel very happy!

Another favourite song for this month has been 'Fine China' by Chris Brown, for precisely the same reason!

COSMETICS

I purchased Trésemmé's Volume and Lift mousse earlier this month because my hair gets more heavy and flat the longer it gets. Since I like being able to do so much with my hair, my hairdresser cut my hair so that the roots were given more lift without changing the whole hairstyle and just to give it that extra boost I bought the mousse (rhyme!) to help it along. It works quite well - I've really noticed the difference! If you use too much it can make your hair feel a little bit greasy though, so you do need to be careful about how much you're using.

APPS AND GAMES

I'm pretty sure I've included this game in my favourites before, but I'm loving The Sims 3! I've particularly loved building houses and I'm getting better (slowly). If you want to see some EPIC house-building, check out TheCurtisParadisShow on YouTube!

SHOPPING

If you saw my last blog post you'll know I love Topshop's new collection 'Railroad'! But for me this month I did a huge clothes haul with some birthday money at New Look, my absolute favourite highstreet clothes shop. Everything is so cute and the prices aren't too scary either! And not only that, the kids section 'Generation' is also on trend along with the adult section. Being so small means I can still fit into the top sizes of the kids section which is definitely an advantage the way I see it! It's a top tip for those short girls like me! Shh!

It's only been a short favourites, I know. But the month has gone by so quickly I didn't have time to acknowledge the fact that April is ending, my birthday is a week away and exams start in the next two weeks!
