Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipstick in 'Sloane's Plum'
I've always loved the look of the deep, rich lip colours that autumn and winter bring with them and my recent favourite is 'Sloane's Plum' by Rimmel, so I thought I would share it with you! When I saw this in store I felt like it was the only one of the darker shades I could really pull off, so I've given it a whirl.
I have to say, Rimmel's Moisture Renew lipsticks were great before, but they've really vamped up the formula since I bought one last. The pigment is bold, yet it glides on so smoothly, and what's more, it doesn't just give a glossy finish. The tint stays on your lips for a good while after it's been applied so you don't have to constantly reapply it. The hydration factor is also impressive, particularly at this time of year when our lips are most vulnerable to the bitter weather.
The packaging looks a lot more professional to me too, in comparison to its old and almost frumpy-looking design.
So that's my little overview of my new favourite lip colour! It's not often I'm attracted to the plummy shades, and although this gem certainly looks a lot darker in the bullet, once you swatch it, you'll find it's not so scary after all!
The Moisture Renew lipsticks are £6.49 and can be found in most good drugstores.
Gem x
