Blogmas Day 5: What's in my Makeup Bag?

by - 16:26

In today's post I thought I'd show you the makeup I'm currently using everyday, so here we go!

I always start with my eyes, and while the eye shadows vary day to day, I always use MAC's Bare Study paint pot as a primer. I find it helps set my eyeshadow so that is lasts all day and a little goes a long way!

Sometimes if I'm in a hurry or feeling a little lazy, I will use Bare Study on its own, but the eyeshadows I use generally are either MAC eyeshadows, or these two Revlon ColorStay palettes.

Right: Addictive; Left: Adventurous

I always line my eyes using MAC's Coffee eye pencil and the mascara I use tends to vary - my current favourite is Benefit's 'They're Real!'.

Once my eyes are done I go in with some foundation. I use Rimmel's Match Perfection (I have been through bottles of this) and will also add to that using the Wake Me Up concealer under the eyes and on any random blemishes I may have.

Next I go onto my brows and I tend to use the Addictive palette by Revlon again, using the lighter brown on the inner halves, and a mix of the darker colours on my outer halves. I've also been trying the GOSH Brow Kit and enjoy using the setting gel that it comes with.

I then go back to my skin and use my Borjois 'chocolate' bronzer, followed by Natural Collection's blusher in Rosey Glow. My last step is to apply highlighter from the No7 Limited Edition Bronzing Brick.

Finally though, should I want to set my makeup, I use No7's translucent Loose Powder.

My lipstick is Rimmel's 'Sloane's Plum', just applied as a stain. I reviewed this here recently!
I hope you liked taking a peek inside my makeup bag, and I'll see speak soon!

Gem x
