Batiste Care and Vitality Dry Shampoo

by - 07:08

Until earlier this year I wasn't really familiar with the whole idea of using dry shampoo. I had tried it only a couple of times before, so when Batiste kindly sent me some of their Care and Vitality dry shampoo to try I was keen to give it a full test run. I've been using it regularly since then and today I'm giving you the verdict!

According to research online (I'm definitely not a botanist!) the product contains mandarin oil which is quite beneficial to the hair. It has moisturising properties, making the hair appear more shiny. I did notice a difference in and got compliments on the appearance of my hair and I also loved the boost of volume it gave me, particularly on the days where my hair looked pretty unattractive because I was too busy or tired to do anything with it.

It has got me to the point of only really washing my hair a couple of times a week, three if necessary, which was ideal when I was still in the last-minute-get-ready-for-Christmas rush! Because I have quite a dry, flaky scalp I did have to give this quite a few uses to get comfortable with it but eventually I really came to like it. I haven't noticed any real annoying white, powdery residue either.

The smell of the product is absolutely gorgeous too, it smells quite oriental to me, and I adore the packaging, with the sleek feel and the sparkles. I think the 200ml bottle should last you some time as well.

I'd definitely recommend that you try this, especially with a price of just £3.99 at Boots, and a deal that's now on at Superdrug where you can snap it up for even less!

I was really surprised at how many different types and fragrances Batiste makes and I can't wait to try some more!
