Happy 2015!
Happy New Year to my lovely readers!
Now that 2015 is in full swing I've been sat here, thinking about how much I have enjoyed this holiday season. I got to spend much more time with my family and friends and I'm so grateful for all of the love I was given over the last year. Whilst 2014 was a year with ups and downs (a year like any) I can honestly say that it has to be one of the best years yet.

| I found this appropriately-titled book the other day and have really been liking it so far! I also love the sparkly diary which has enough space in it to write daily 'To-Do' lists! |

I spent a lot of my year with someone special and I hope there are so many more to come, because I enjoyed it very much! I also left my secondary school chapter behind me and went to university. It hasn't been the easiest transition, but I've made some great friends and I hope I get to spend much more time getting to know them in this year.
I've loved reading all of these New Year blog posts - they have been very inspiring to push on to make 2015 my best year ever. I loved reading success story after success story and I hope all of that continues for you over the next year.
I've never been very good at sticking to New Year's Resolutions, but here are a few I have been thinking over during the Christmas and New Year period:
To stress less
I think this is a very prominent one for many people, and whilst it may sound like a cliché, or wishful thinking, I really am determined to try to switch off at times and simply 'live in the moment'. I want to live 2015 to the fullest.
To do more of what makes me happy
I love writing and am hoping to do so much of that this year. I have been bogged down with a bout of writer's block recently and to get blogging and writing for leisure again is going to feel amazing, I can tell! I also want to cook more this year. Living as a student makes it hard to avoid the pasta or ready meals, but I definitely want to try and do something different this year.
To be more organised
I did pretty well at this towards the end of 2014 and would like to carry this over in 2015, giving myself a better schedule and tidier work space to enhance my productivity!
As always, thank you so much for reading my thoughts, and here's to hoping you had a wonderful New Year.
Gem xxx
