Originally I was in search of a concealer, but the interactive display for B. comestics drew me in to find out which kind of product would best suit my skin. Since I'm already using products I absolutely LOVE in the day cream area, I decided using a night serum would shake up for my skin routine a little.
As always with new skincare items, I was worried this might cause my skin to flare up, but after testing it on my hand and (obviously) my face, I haven't found this product to be irritating at all. It works a treat to soften my skin soon after use and I've noticed my skin looks a lot brighter too. It has a light, yet creamy texture that glides onto the skin and it settles in after a couple of minutes so you're not having to go to sleep with a stodgy, buttery mess on your face. Seriously, who wants that?!
However as nice as this product is in terms of effectiveness, I don't really rate the packaging. I would have liked to have seen the design on the box carried over onto the bottle in order for it to appear more consistent because a plain bottle just doesn't do it for me. Aside from this though, the bottle is made much more practical with a pump, so you're able to control how much comes out at a time!
To sum up, there are plenty of other night serums on the market that I'm hoping to try some day, but if you are looking for an effective, cheaper alternative with a fresh scent, you can pick yours up at Superdrug for £9.99!
