First of all I just want to apologise for my absence in terms of blogging recently. I've just completed my first week at university and it's been absolutely manic. But this post has been in the works for the last couple of weeks, so here it is, at last!

I'm always so sceptical when I buy mascaras. You never know what to expect until you put it on! In this case though, you can be rest-assured that you'll get a 'wonderful' mascara.

Argan oil is becoming extremely popular in beauty products, particularly this year, and now we're finding it in mascara! The oil is designed to soften your lashes, just as it does for your hair. I haven't really noticed a dramatic difference in the condition of my lashes, but since using this mascara daily they certainly do feel softer!

The application and look of the mascara on your eyes is lovely. The brush is extra-flexible, making it easier to coat every lash which very little clumping issues. Now I'm not saying it won't clump at all. I think you have to careful not to completely over-apply, but it's a great one just to throw on first thing in the morning, something I've been finding very useful! I've found the best way to apply it is to simply blink onto the wand first and go from there.


I love the packaging of this product too! The twisted shape of the tube makes it easy to grip and gives you great control of the wand. I also love the colour they chose - a lovely natural, but metallic brownish-gold. Rimmel always try to package each mascara differently. I think it's such a fun approach to makeup and they stand out so well on the shelves! With this one in particular, I love the packaging because it emphases that theme of using natural ingredients within a product.


All in all, a great find. You can pick this mascara up in Boots or Superdrug for £7.99.
