Maybelline 'The Falsies' Volum' Express Mascara

I know I'm a bit late on the bandwagon, but I just couldn't resist posting about this mascara! It's been out for a while now (maybe half a year to a year) and it's been raved about by so many people I finally decided to buy it when it came to searching for a new mascara.

It was Tanya Burr (Pixi2woo) on YouTube who first introduced me to the mascara itself. It's got to the point where she uses it in almost every tutorial.

As a girl who loves a dramatic lash any time of the day I simply HAD to try it for myself.

The brush is an unusual shape. It's described as a "spoon brush" and is specifically in this curved shape to enable the wand to reach each lash from one side of the eye to the other. I find this "spoon brush" quite useful even if it doesn't quite reach all of my lashes.

This mascara only clumps very slightly, but I've come to realise the difficulty in finding a mascara that doesn't clump at all so I can't really be too picky.

'The Falsies' really lengthens my lashes, which is brilliant! As I said, I love my dramatic lash!

Sometimes though, I find I catch my lower lash line so my baby lashes get coated too much for my liking. I think it might be a good idea to invest in a bottom lash mascara one day so I don't get a reputation for spider eyes!

However I can't complain for the staying-power, because it lasts from the minute I put it on until after I take it off. I say that because you need a strong remover or wipes to take it off with. It's not the toughest mascara to remove, but it requires a little bit of oomph to get your lashes squeaky clean.

Overall though, if you love your dramatic lash, this mascara is fantastic. Drugstore products win again!

Have you tried Maybelline's 'The Falsies' mascara? Is there anything you think can beat it?
